FILKAB AD successfully completed a project for energy-efficient street lighting in the "Central" and "Southern" Districts of the city of Plovdiv
In the extremely short period of 1 calendar month (31 days), DZZD "OBEDINENIE FILKAB-ENGINEERING" managed to replace 1,913 lighting fixtures and 95 street cassettes in the Southern and Central regions of the city of Plovdiv. In addition to the complex and large-scale organization of the construction and assembly works,, important features of the project are:
- Delivery and installation of highly efficient lighting fixtures with a performance of 138lm/W, and in the most common case, a 12W LED replaces a 50W HID (approx. 55W with losses in the ballast);
- Delivery and installation of two photovoltaic rooftop systems of 5kWp each on a school and a kindergarten for the needs of street lighting in the area;
- Delivery and installation of a completely new and modern street lighting control system in the covered areas, with the help of which monitoring and maintenance activities are facilitated and refined.
In addition to the remarkable work of the installers in the working groups, we also note with satisfaction the amazing results of the colleagues from the "Lighting Equipment" department, engaged with the project documentation.
Project "Introduction of energy efficiency actions for rehabilitation and modernization of street lighting in the "Central" and "Southern" Districts of the Municipality of Plovdiv" was financed under Procedure BGENERGY-2.001 "Rehabilitation and modernization of municipal infrastructure - systems for external artificial lighting of municipalities" under Program " Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Energy Security" under the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA FM) 2014-2021.
