Engineering EAD with a high rating for the production of Schneider Electric's SM6 series switchgear - the production license has been extended until 2024

Engineering EAD successfully passed a recertification audit by Schneider Electric, as a result of which the company's license for the production of complete switchgears (KRU) of the SM6 series has been extended for another two years.

The company, which is part of the Filkab group, specializes in complete engineering services and the production of CTS (complete transformer substation), KRU and electrical switchboards. The production of Schneider Electric SM6 series started at the end of 2018 with one production line, today, four years later, there are already two lines and the launch of a third is planned. From the start of production until today, nearly 3,000 pieces have been produced, and the current production capacity is 1,000 pieces per year. In addition to assembling the product itself, Engineering EAD manufactures all the metal housings of the products. The company has modernly equipped, high-tech workshops for metalworking, a powder coating line and, last but not least, extensive experience and well-trained personnel in the production of metal products.

Schneider Electric's complete SM6 switchgear covers the most important customer requirements for device safety and reliability. According to the brand's high requirements, SM6 modules must be 100% factory tested, with no need for subsequent tests at the installation site. Engineering EAD performs all the necessary tests, as a guarantee for the quality of the products, the main proof of which is that there have been no complaints from customers since the start of production.

The main customers of these products are the companies that manufacture complete transformer substations, and a third of the produced SM6 switchgears are used in CTSs manufactured by Engineering EAD.
